Dr. Al Moroz, DVM

Dr. Al Moroz, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Al Moroz graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 1987. After working at various clinics in Toronto he re-settled at the family farm in Hastings with his wife and son. He later purchased English Line Veterinary Services in the fall of 2006.
Dr. Moroz values and loves the personal contact that he has with his clients and their pets. He is an avid learner and has many interests from building canoes, gardening, playing guitar, field trial judge… the list is endless.
When Dr. Moroz has some downtime he enjoys time with his wife and training his black labs; Annie, Gracie, Abby, Hazel and Rosie. He also has three cats; Frick, Frack and Sally who keeps the herd in line.

Dr. Sandy Rice, DVM (Locum)

Veterinarian

Dr. Sandy Rice joined the English Line Veterinary Team in 2017 after moving to the Campbellford area to semi-retire and be closer to family. Dr. Rice graduated with distinction from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1998 and went on to practice in the Brampton/Halton region for 18 years. In 2011, she obtained certification in canine rehabilitation from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. She has also obtained a Silver Certification in Low Stress Handling Techniques as part of the fear-free movement in veterinary medicine. She has been a Professor at Sheridan College teaching Clinical Operations in the Animal Care program and Veterinary Pharmacology in the Veterinary Technician program. Recently Dr. Rice held a position on Council for the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, acted as a member of the Discipline Committee and chaired the Accreditation Committee for veterinary facilities in Ontario. When not at English Line, you will find Dr. Rice, relaxing and spending time on Cordova Lake with her Norfolk Terrier, Rue.

Charlene Wells

Clinic Manager, CSR

Charlene joined the English Line Vet team in 2006. She graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program at Sheridan College in 1992. Charlene is the “Jack of all Trades” of the clinic. With her many years of experience in the veterinary field, Charlene has the ability to assist in every department of our veterinary clinic which is an amazing asset to our team.
She has a German Shepherd named “Theo”, a Jack Russel named “Rock Star” and three felines; “Clinger, Radar, and Mabel”.
In her spare time, she likes to trail walk with Theo and listen to music.

Blayre Tinney

RVT

Blayre joined English Line in the summer of 2018. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Northern College in 2013 and spent her first years as an RVT in Northern Ontario until deciding to move back to her home town.
Blayre lives with her fiancée and 2 children. She also has two dogs named Casey and Snoop and one cat named Roger. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.

Miranda Rance

RVT

Miranda joined our team in the fall of 2014. She graduated from the veterinary technician program at Ridgetown College in 2010. Moving back to her hometown of Hastings she has worked in veterinary clinics ever since. She enjoys playing many sports, horseback riding and anything outdoors. She has a Collie named Shanty, a German Short Hair Pointer named Poppy and two horses Cassey and Cosmo.

Sheri-Lynn Barrons

Client Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant

Sheri Lynn recently joined our team in August 2019. She has 17 years of veterinary experience working at local clinics. Sheri Lynn recently purchased a farm in the area with her husband and 3 children. You may see her out in the community at horse shows, ballpark or the hockey arena. She has two cats, 1 dog, and horses.

Hailey Sager

RVT

Hailey joined the English Line team in April 2010. Hailey graduated from Seneca College in 2007 and wrote the registration exam soon after.
Hailey and her husband have 3 young children. She shares her home with 2 Bullmastiffs, 2 cats and 3 horses. Hailey enjoys spending time with her family, riding her horse or some fun in the sun.
Hailey enjoys the fast-paced, challenging environment at English Line that has allowed her to learn and enhance her skills.
